Today is day one of my 3-Day Refresh! I woke up bright and early at 6 am, had my water, and a very small cup of black coffee. I did 30 minute yoga tape…while my dog was right at my feet, talk about a balancing act. Following yoga I had a cup of hot green tea (no honey) and got ready for the day.
Next it was smoothie time, chocolate shakeology with half a frozen banana 1/4 cup almond milk, 1 cup water, and ice. The Vegan Chocolate Shakeology is my favorite, follow the recipe I just gave you and it will taste like a Chocolate Shake. Needless to say I drank that bad boy really fast.
A few hours later it was time for the fiber pack…it is not very good. Positive: it keeps you super full and it has a light citrus taste. Negative: it is gritty and you have to drink it fast before it thickens up.
Lunch was vanilla fresh with salad with greens, sprouts, peppers, cucumber, and onion with a light balsamic vinaigrette followed by some pineapple.
Snack was a little bit of hummus with carrots.
Dinner was sautéed vegetables, vanilla fresh, and a apple with cinnamon.
I was not hungry all day and I felt great. The only difficult time for me was 4-5 pm while I was cooking dinner for my family…I wanted to snack so bad on vegetable chips, but I ate carrots instead…it felt good to be in control of my cravings.
Before starting this 3 day cleanse I would defiantly recommend some prep work and planning. The recipes in the 3-Day refresh guide they give you are awesome defiantly making the stir fry for tomorrow nights dinner.
