The 21 Day Fix is a fitness and nutrition program designed to help people loose 5-15 pounds in 3 weeks. It teaches you how to eat the correct amount of food for you body and incorporates exercise into your everyday routine.
The workouts are only 30 minutes long, but they are far from easy. Autumn Calabrese, the creator of the 21 Day Fix, maximizes each move by working multiple muscle groups at the same time to get you the best results without having to be in the gym all day. I used to go to the gym for 1-2 hours depending on the day. I worked my a$$ of to try to work all my a$$ of that I had acquired from having a baby. Your weight, and a algorithm that beach body created, helps you to determine how many containers you get each day. Simply measure out all of your food into specified containers and enjoy. If your food does not fit in your containers and than you don’t eat it. The eating guide even tells you what containers the food would fall into when you go out to eat! They even created a 21 Day Fix app to help you keep track of what you have eaten, and how many continuers you have left.
The nutrition part was a huge eye opener for me. I have always been passionate about health and nutrition but I was not eating the right about for my body. The 21 Day Fix has really helped me with my portion control. For example I was eating WAY too much healthy fat and WAY to many carbohydrates. Now I know how much to eat and do not feel guilty about it.
