I can not believe September is almost over!! It is crazy! It feels like overnight we went from summer to fall. I have been obsessed with everything pumpkin spice: pumpkin oatmeal, pumpkin waffles, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin tea! I love it all.
Fall is defiantly one of my favorite seasons. I miss living in New England this time of year, there is a crisp in the air that tells you its time to go apple picking and eat apple cider donut’s. The closest orcard to me now is like 2 1/2 hours away, so thats not happening.
This weeks meal plan is going to be a little different, I have decided to do the 3 Day Quick Fix from 21 day fix. Basically it is the way Autumn eats for a competition, but only for 3 days. No salt, so sugar, no fruit, just complex carbs, vegetables, and protein…lots of protein.
A dream of mine, recently, has been to compete in a fitness competition. Although there are many issues around that and things I have to figure out, I decided the best way to see if I could be disciplined enough to do it, is to see if I could stick to the eating plan for 3 days….I’m testing myself.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday my diet will be:
Meal 1: steel cut oats and egg whites
Meal 2: grilled chicken and steamed yams
Meal 3: steamed fish, steamed veggies
Meal 4: grilled chicken, steamed veggies
Meal 5: steamed fish, steamed veggies
Meal 6: Ground turkey, steamed veggies
You get four tsp of extra virgin, unrefined, coconut oil as well.
Looking at the count down to competition, I am allowed to change one protein for one shakeology, so I will be doing that in the evening for my sweet treat.

For the first 3 days with just be blended with water and ice, the last 2 days will be chocolate peanut butter!

Kind bar and apple…they came out with some new flavors, the ginger cashew is a must try! It tastes like a ginger snap!
